now with Video of my quickest run. I won the class against 3 very good drivers (nationally competitive)

I codrove my friend’s GTI in preparation for SCCA Solo Nationals where we will be codriving it. The car transitions well and the turbo lag is there, but not so pronounced. The LSD works better than the MK6 e-diff too and this car (with a bigger rear bar) actually rotates very well and isn’t as snapundersteery and I was expecting

Good fun for a rope pusher.

Sweet! I can’t wait to track my GTI-PP when I buy one. It sounded like you were in 2nd gear for almost all of the run, what speeds are you hitting? My Golf will max at about 80 km/h (50 mph) so I’m curious how that relates.

I don’t look at the speedo while I’m driving. I think you can look up the gearing and calculate out the speeds at redline

That run wasn’t that good by my standards. I think I left about 2 or 3 tenths out there.

That slalom was terrible; too far off the cones

I can definitely still spin. Crashing is a bit harder though on the Concrete Beach
